This South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) class is a comprehensive training course designed to educate individuals on the laws and regulations surrounding the carrying of concealed firearms.
WHAT THIS COURSE WILL COVER
This course includes a required live-fire qualification, where students must demonstrate safe and competent firearm handling.
In addition to the legal knowledge gained in this class, obtaining your concealed carry license offers several key benefits:
Carrying a concealed firearm provides an added layer of personal protection for you and your loved ones.
Training and preparation help you feel more confident in your ability to respond to potential threats.
Having a permit may allow you to carry in additional locations where permitted by South Carolina law.
South Carolina recognizes concealed carry permits from many other states, and South Carolina permit holders may be recognized in other states, subject to their laws.
Applicants must be South Carolina residents or own real property in South Carolina to qualify for a permit.
This is not a beginner handgun course. Students are expected to arrive with a working knowledge of their firearm.
