Oregon Multi-State Concealed Handgun License (CHL) Course

Classroom or Description

Make Protection Your Priority

This class meets and exceeds the Oregon Concealed Handgun License training requirements.

You’ll walk away with an understanding of:

  • Conflict avoidance and situational awareness
  • The physiology of violent encounters
  • The legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath)
  • Why it’s important to have a legal and financial backup plan if you are ever forced to defend yourself

Completion of this course satisfies the Oregon & Utah educational requirement for handgun safety training to obtain your concealed handgun license. After completing this course, you must apply for your CHL at your county sheriff’s office. You will need your Certificate of Completion to apply.

Owning or carrying a firearm is about taking personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your family, and recognizing that you are your first responder. It’s time to take that responsibility seriously.
